Clarendon Culture

A blog about the DC 'burb where I live, work, eat, and play. Tune in for Clarendon shopping, dining, people-watching, real estate, construction and development, and anything else that catches my eye.

iPhone archives

I’ve decided to start a new series: iPhone archives!  I take pictures with my iPhone daily, but the photos don’t always make it to my blog.  Rather than let the files rot in digital wasteland, I’ve decided to share them with you.

(Early morning fog on George Washington Parkway.)

(Fig & Prosciutto pizza at Mia’s in Bethesda on a double date with my BIL & SIL.  One of the best pizzas I’ve eaten in recent history.)

(Who here has ever heard of Arlandria??)

(My favorite meal in the city: 60 hour braised Texas shortribs from Citronelle.  I’ve already requested this meal for all future birthdays.)

(Not-your-average-Clarendon flip flop spotted on the sidewalk in front of Whole Foods.)

(The best batch of chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever made. Recipe here.  I halved the recipe, and still came out with about 2 dozen or so.)

(A visit to the Kennedy Space Center)

(Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn from one of my trips to Dallas.)

(Homemade Greek Pastitsio)

(A great bottle of wine)
